It's the people who make experiences and places special!
The team at Mountainflow Yoga is characterised by a love and enjoyment of sustainable movement, many years of experience, shared values, recognised qualifications – but above all enthusiasm and fun at work. This authenticity in body, mind and heart makes every yoga and mountain sports session in and around Bad Reichenhall something special.
We're looking forward to seeing you!

For 15 years, I've been guiding people on their journey to a healthy life!
I found my love for yoga through a roundabout route. Even in my youth, I tried out various sports and found myself drawn to anything that involved nature and movement. After graduating in Sports Science with a focus on rehabilitation and starting my career as a personal trainer in Cologne, I felt an increasing pull towards the mountains.
First a few years in Munich, then to Mittenwald and finally to the beautiful Bad Reichenhall. For more than 15 years now, I have been successfully supporting my clients in achieving their goals. I am always happy to share my expertise and, of course, my enthusiasm for movement, sustainability and (mountain) sports. After an accident while mountain biking about 8 years ago, I came into contact with yoga for the first time. And what can I say – it was love at first sight. Since then, I have been able to deepen my knowledge through various training and further education courses.
As a sports scientist, qualified yoga instructor and climbing coach with various specialised continuing professional development courses, I am particularly fascinated by the intense physical and mental growth achieved through the combination of yoga and mountain sports.
In my yoga classes, the focus is on optimal anatomical alignment in a mindful and intense practice, to bring body, mind and heart into harmony.

Most of all…happy.
Movement, nature, experience, and living have always been part of me. However, I only discovered my enthusiasm for yoga on my world trip when I realised that despite hiking, climbing, mountaineering, and running, I quickly reached my limits with all yoga poses. But it simply felt good for body, mind, and soul. So, at the end of my journey, I found myself at the beginning of my yoga path.
In 2020, I completed my training as a certified Hatha and Vinyasa yoga teacher.
I enjoy practising and teaching yoga in a flowing Vinyasa style, alternating between dynamic, powerful and calm elements to engage the body as well as promote relaxation and stress reduction. Particular attention is paid to the conscious connection between breath and posture, which guides attention to the present moment and the aliveness pulsating within the body.
My yoga practice is not performance-oriented, but joy-oriented. Therefore, I am already looking forward to welcoming you to the mat, following the motto:

Yoga as the perfect balance.
Since 2016, yoga has been an integral part of my wellness routine. Whether it's after a triathlon training session or before work.
I enjoy bringing together different elements from yoga and classical physiotherapy with patients.
Many are positively surprised by the added value regular exercise offers to body and soul. In my yoga classes, I particularly focus on being aware of one's own body on any given day. Each day feels different, whether during an intense holding pose or a relaxed stretch. And that's a good thing. Only in this way can you get to know your own body best and understand how to intuitively do yourself good.
The most important thing is to find a yoga style that suits you.
Just take your time to try it out. 🙂

My own yoga journey began over 20 years ago when I first stepped onto the mat in the Austrian mountains.
Since then, one thing has particularly fascinated me: the profound connection with the here and now that we can establish directly through our bodies. This practice has become a firm and indispensable part of my life.
As a yoga teacher, my focus is on the mindful interplay of active physical work and deep relaxation. This contrast of strength and surrender is, for me, the key to inner clarity and balance.
In my sessions, I will support you in deepening your connection with your body. We will work with an alignment-focused approach to promote stability, using breath as a supporting tool.
I invite you to discover and strengthen your own resources through conscious movement and mindful awareness.

It was only in adulthood that I understood what yoga truly means. I received my first impulses on this path already during gymnastics at primary school.
The lightness on the beam, the momentum of a jump, and the focused concentration during competitions have excited me from the very beginning. These early years in sport taught me, among other things, from an early age what a great, positive effect regular practice can have.
After my vocational training - intended as a bridge back into artistic gymnastics - I started with yoga; and it became much more than that.
My search for a highly qualified yoga education has led me to India/Rishikesh, the world-renowned yoga capital.
There, in 2023 and 2024, I completed two trainings as a certified yoga teacher, each lasting 200 and 300 hours.
Since that time, I have been teaching yoga and want to accompany my students on a path to improved health and greater balance. The focus is on expanding physical and mental boundaries, awakening one's own strengths, and positive thinking.
“The practice of yoga induces a primary sense of measure and proportion. Reduced to our own body, our first instrument, we learn to play it, drawing from it maximum resonance and harmony.”

I love exercise!
Even at 18, I took part in my first group classes – I was so enthusiastic that I immediately got my first coaching certificate. Since then, exercise, cycling, running and various workouts have accompanied me. 15 years ago, I discovered Pilates and was instantly enthusiastic about its holistic effect. It also personally relieved me of many ailments. I am very happy to pass on this experience.
In my classes, I deliberately focus on different body regions to balance the entire body. Annette supports me with various sounds, which help you connect with yourself even more and perceive the exercises on a deeper level.

I love the abundance of possibilities!
At the last Yoga & Brunch, thanks to Lisa from Mountainflow Yoga Studio, I was able to accompany the participants with the handpan. The touching resonance gave rise to a new idea.
Pilates and Sound Baths
This is how I accompany Claudia in her Pilates class – with handpan sounds, singing bowls, and other soothing elements.
My journey began through my own chronic illness and trauma, leading me into the world of inner work and therapeutic methods such as prenatal bodywork.
Today I have arrived full of gratitude in the here and now – as a sound practitioner, fulfilled by my love for the handpan.

Keep it simple.
My yoga journey began from various directions simultaneously. In my work as a dancer, I sought strength, flexibility, and balance in yoga. At the same time, it became my important counterbalance to the demanding office routine – a space where I could breathe, let go, and find myself again.
For me, yoga means connection: with my own body, my breath, and the present moment. A balanced combination of strength and relaxation for body, mind, and soul.
And that's exactly what I'd like to share and pass on.
In my classes, I create a space where you can truly arrive and be with yourself. With mindful, clear guidance and a lot of heart, I support you in deepening your practice and discovering your own path in yoga.

Free spirit with a love of nature
For over 20 years, I have been supporting people on their journey to greater well-being and have been able to deepen my holistic approach with each individual. For me, movement has always been life and life has always been movement.
But it was only my own physical problems that set me on the path of yoga.
After a few years of practice, I began my yoga teacher training in India in 2018. It was there that I also met my teachers, who continue to guide me today with their experience and deep knowledge.
Through studying naturopathy, I've increasingly been able to align my teaching style therapeutically and cater to practitioners with limitations. The yoga classes are characterised by flowing, strengthening exercises focusing on the breath. I invite you on a multi-faceted journey to yourself.

I have been practising yoga for over 15 years and have found in it a valuable balance and a deep connection with myself. In 2021, I completed my training as a Vinyasa yoga teacher. I am particularly enthusiastic about the powerful connection between movement and music, which makes every class lively and flowing.
Later, I did a Yin Yoga training to bring even more calm and depth to my practice. Yin Yoga offers me a space for relaxation and letting go, and that's exactly what I want to pass on in my classes.
I originally trained as a children's nurse, a profession that has shaped me and gifted me with great empathy and mindfulness in dealing with people.
My love of travel constantly inspires me anew; it brings fresh impetus, openness, and lightness to my teaching.
In my classes, I combine flowing sequences with calm, restorative moments, always with the aim of guiding you back into your balance.

My life's path has been very colourful. However, yoga has been a constant companion for me since 2005, when I first had the chance to try it at the dance academy, taught by an Indian couple. Since then, I've loved it and have had the opportunity to discover and practice different styles with many different teachers in various countries such as India, Indonesia, Brazil, and Austria.
Shortly before my yoga encounter, I came into contact with meditation, which has guided me through life for almost even longer. It was only a few years later that I realised what conscious breathing techniques can achieve and how mind-expanding and enriching the mix of yoga, breathing and meditation is. This path is calling me ever more strongly, and I would like to wholeheartedly pass on everything I have learned, and thereby grow together with other people in joy, peace, abundance, and love on all levels.
A brief professional excerpt: I worked for a long time in theatre as an actress and director. In addition, I also led numerous workshops on voice, presence, and performance, as well as initiating children's and youth theatre projects. After that, I worked for a few years as a presenter and editor at various radio stations. Currently, I support young children in their linguistic development.

I help people feel reconnected with themselves, with others, and with life.
Health, healing, and holistic well-being have been with me for many years – both on a personal and professional level.
Through my own life story and experiences with physical symptoms, stress, and the consequences of trauma, a deeper search began for me into the causes behind ailments, health, and true healing.
I became increasingly aware of how important it is to consider people holistically – not just physically or mentally, but in connection with body, mind, emotions, nervous system, and soul.
This deep interest eventually led me down my professional path: I completed a Master's degree in Health Management as well as in Sports Therapy, Prevention, and Health Promotion.
However, it was not only my studies and training that shaped me, but above all my own path and the experience that real change and healing are possible when we begin to reconnect with ourselves.
For over six years, I have been practising and researching yoga, somatic bodywork, and mindful movement. I am particularly passionate about a somatic, intuitive, and trauma-informed approach – far removed from pressure for achievement or perfection.
My spaces aren't about having to „function“, but about feeling, perceiving and arriving in one's own body again.
Elements such as somatic exercises, breathwork, mindful movement, meditation, dance, connection with nature, forest bathing, voice, and nervous system regulation intuitively and holistically flow into my work.
My wish is to create spaces where people feel safe, welcome, and seen – with everything that is present right now. Spaces that support feeling more grounded, alive, connected, and trusting in one's own life again.

Yoga means feeling the connection to your own body and mind.
Yoga has been a part of my life for many years and is indispensable to me now.
Whether as a balance to everyday life, for sporting activity or as part of a me-time routine.
Because it fulfils me so much, the desire arose to bring this closer to other people and to share my way of practice with them. So I completed the Hatha Yoga training in Salzburg.
This surprised me even more, how much there is to learn about the practice and theory of yoga, and it brought me even closer to it. At the same time, I never forget how important movement is for one's own bodily health.
I am trying to infuse all of my hours with my passion for it.
My goal is to make you forget everything around you and connect completely with yourself, either in a sweaty power session or a classic Hatha session.
Also, roll out the mat and let's get started!

My journey into yoga began when I realised that through years of training and striving for an ideal body, I had drifted further and further away from myself.
My body was strong, yet inside I felt empty – and my body increasingly reflected this through clear symptoms. The signals became so loud that I knew I had to change something. This is how I ended up in India, where I completed my yoga teacher training – not primarily to teach, but to find myself again. There, I discovered the connection to my body that had been missing for a long time. Yoga helped me to feel, understand, and accept my body again – exactly as it is.
In my classes, I want to pass on this connection: with mindfulness and respect, we work with the body, not against it. My teaching style combines powerful, stabilising asanas with calm, restorative elements – a practice that both strengthens and nourishes.
As well as yoga, I'm a nutritionist with a focus on gut health and a qualified fitness trainer. The combination of exercise, nutrition and mindfulness has helped me to completely overcome my symptoms – and this holistic perspective is also integrated into my yoga classes.
I look forward to accompanying you on your journey – towards greater body awareness, strength, and inner balance.
